Wornick Foods | Cincinnati, Ohio

Project Overview

Relocation Strategies, Inc. Cincinnati was introduced to the Wornick Foods Company by Duke Realty in the fall of 2010 to assess the feasibility of relocating one of their distribution facilities. Wornick was faced with a lease renewal for their current warehouse that did not allow for an efficient expansion of their pallet racking setup. Duke Realty was offering a warehouse space that fit Wornick’s requirement of accommodating 7,000 pallet locations where their existing facility had become cramped with roughly 4,200 pallet locations. This space offered the right amount of clearance height as well as the opportunity to design a more efficient racking layout. The key to making this project happen was the RSI Team’s ability to source used racking and complete the relocation within 60 days of being engaged.
