Relocation Strategies is new to the Baltimore / Annapolis area but we are not a new company. We were founded in 1994 and are currently located in 20 other cities around the US. We provide our clients with a one-stop non-biased source responsible for planning and managing all aspects of their corporate office, industrial, medical or institutional relocation.

Our clients range in size from 1,000 sq. ft. of space to over 1,000,000 sq. ft. Types of projects we have managed include corporate office, manufacturing, medical, educational, distribution, banking and a variety of other industry categories. We have been involved in hundreds of projects ranging in scope from smaller in-suite renovations to national state-to-state relocations to international projects.

The Relocation Strategies project management staff offers a depth of resources with almost 25 years experience in managing a diverse array of projects. We offer a non-biased approach to managing your project. We are not a direct supplier of any moving services, office furniture or other related services in which we govern. So when we provide recommendations, it is based on the projects and our clients’ best interest. Project success, client satisfaction and professionalism of delivery are our ultimate goals.

Since our inception, we have managed the moves over 25,000,000 sq. ft. of commercial space involving more than 35,000 employees. We ARE the experts in our field!

Team Bios

Owner and Market President of Relocation Strategies serving the greater Baltimore and Annapolis Market, as well as Western Maryland and West Virginia. Jim has been the CEO of several companies since 1999 and has worn many hats. Jim has experience with finance, logistics, HR/ personnel, equipment management and IT services. Jim’s most recent business was a records management company (RMS) that served the Mid-Atlantic area and specialized in on-site document and media destruction. RMS handled information protection logistics for federal and corporate clients. RMS was the first information protection company in the world to provide on-site shredding services for the FBI. Coordination of schedules, mapping routes and properly destroying clients confidential information in a professional and secure manner led to RMS being one of the top providers in the region. Jim saw the translation of skills from RMS to Relocation Strategies as a perfect segue for his talents and looks forward to working on projects in the this new market.

Jim also believes in giving back to the community. He is current President of his local Rotary club and started a non-profit with his partner Alisha Maddox called the WV Visionary Group that promotes mentoring high school students in WV, using a program called Habits of Hero’s. A values and character building program that teaches students soft skills such as mindfulness, showing up, doing what needs to be done and community service.

Jason Hearron, the Business Development Director, is responsible for growing and developing the client base in the Baltimore, Annapolis, Columbia areas and most of central and northern Maryland. Jason has been working in a business client and business referral facing position for over 17 years. Jason earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Towson University. He also received a minor in Business Administration. After college, Jason spent three years in logistics with Pitney Bowes. He then transformed and developed his sales and managerial acumen, working in advertising and digital marketing for over eleven years. In this role, Jason helped all types of businesses grow and efficiently deal with change, all while maintaining profitability and decreasing costs. For the past three years, Jason has been assisting oral surgeons during surgeries as a dental implant representative.
