Christina Steele
Project Manager
Christina began her career in brand management where she rose through the ranks in several companies to run business units of increasing size. She was responsible for the growth and profitability of each business, developing and honing the necessary skills of realistic goal setting, planning, identification and meeting of customer needs, cross functional collaboration and communication with others, attention to detail and smooth and timely execution.
Later, she utilized and further refined these capabilities in the supply chain area driving medium to large projects typically from inception to successful completion. She worked closely with selected vendors, participating in vendor selection and then managed the relationships, monitoring performance closely to ensure agreed upon requirements were met, resolved customer issues promptly and set up processes to permanently address repetitive issues. Her largest project, which she co-led with her counterpart from the partner organization involved successfully shifting the manufacturing and distribution from one organization to another while minimizing the disruption to the franchise community.
As a project manager, Christina brings a wealth of experience in strategic planning, project management, risk assessment and mitigation, vendor relations and customer service. She has spent much of her career to date working in small to very large organizations. As a result, she has experienced a variety of moves (small, i.e., a department shifting within the building to large ones involving the whole corporate office relocating to a new site) so personally knows the frustrations, disruptions, stress and challenges these transitions can cause.
Today she is a consultant helping client organizations plan and execute projects and with business plan development. She has a Masters in Business Administration from Boston College and has a Six Sigma Green Belt.
