Carter Hanckel
Chief Executive Officer
Carter serves as the Chief Executive Officer and owner of Relocation Strategies RDU. Carter is a serial entrepreneur who has built several businesses in both the retail and information technology industries. Carter has held the positions of CEO and COO in these businesses and has been directly involved in the relocation of them over the years. Carter started Relocation Strategies RDU after having seen first-hand the complexities of these relocations and how services such as Relocation Strategies could have helped make them more successful. As Carter put it, at the end of the day we had a business to run and had very little experience in all that was involved in relocating a business. Things we thought we knew turned out to be only the tip of the ice berg for each of the relocations. Carter brings those years of experience of helping companies plan, manage and execute the relocation of their business to Relocation Strategies RDU.
Carter holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Math from Old Dominion University and currently serves on the Entrepreneurs’ Organization RDU Board. He enjoys anything that has to do with soccer, tennis, mountain biking and watching his two children play sports.
Rob Allen
Business Development Manager
Rob Allen serves as Business Development Manager of Relocation Strategies Raleigh/Durham. Rob is responsible for business development, account/vendor management, strategic planning, and project management. Rob leverages over 14 years of professional experience across various industries, to include, sales, recruitment, underwriting, account management and most recently law enforcement. Rob holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science from Campbell University. A native of Raleigh, North Carolina, Rob now resides in the triangle with his wife and daughter. In his free time, Rob enjoys spending time with family, is an avid golfer and an active member of Summit Church.
